Let your suppliers print directly from your web server
- without VPN clients or onsite setup visits

The need to print documents on external printers increases as you outsource more and more stock, production and distribution. Giving your suppliers access to the company network often means visits to their offices and a VPN connection – pushing costs up with every supplier you use. Not anymore.

IceBreak Web Printing runs directly over the Internet, independently from the Internet browser, so users can print documents without being logged on to the PC.

How does it work?
IceBreak Web Printing contacts the IceBreak server at frequent intervals. If a print is ready, it processes it via a Host Print Transform and transfers it to the Windows printer. The solution doesn’t require InterForm and can handle all known printer models.

An unlimited number of print queues can be created under OS/400 and IceBreak client services. The Host Print Transform even tells you which type of printer your supplier uses. This service can also supplement IBM Personal Communication to create OS/400-printers for Citrix users.

Integrate your web server and your supplier’s Windows platform
IceBreak client services creates closer integration between the web server and the supplier’s Windows platform. The connection between IceBreak Server and IceBreak client services transports information using the open Internet via the HTTP or the HTTPS protocol and can be set up to use SSL.
