More than just another web server
IceBreak is compatible with your web design tools. And because it shows your changes instantly, IceBreak makes the development process easier – and much more enjoyable.

How does IceBreak work?
The HTML code is extended with ASP and converted into a native RPG program object online. Your changes are activated when you save your web project in the IFS workspace on the System iTM server and refresh the page in your browser. The state-of-art technology behind the IceBreak server automatically completes program compilation.

A complete list of compile time and runtime errors
If compile time errors that prevent the compiler from producing the final program object occur, IceBreak generates a complete list of the program errors.

The bookmarked list lets you easily click through the statements where problems occurred in the source code.

Once you edit the source code in a web editor such as Microsoft Frontpage or Macromedia DreamWeaver, the IceBreak server recompiles and executes the program object again.

When a program fails at runtime, System iTM developers usually display the job log. The IceBreak server gives you the same facility by formatting the current job log as a HTML page in your browser.
